This Psalm is Remarkable for it’s
Eloquent change of persons … like a stage play with different actors who
speak.
Psalm 2:1-2 The Prophet Speaks
Act 4:25 Who by the
mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the
people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the
rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both
Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel,
were gathered together,
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel
determined before to be done.

Psalm 2:4-5 The Prophet Answers the Enemies

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed
with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Psalm 22:7 The Messiah Speaks
Act 13:33 God hath
fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus
again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day
have I begotten thee.

Psalm 2:10-12 The Prophet encourages the Enemies to submit to God & His
Messiah
Heb 6:18 That by two
